The Watson McDaniel PBP back pressure regulating pilot operator is a self-contained spring operated pilot designed to maintain back pressure when paired with the HD regulating valve. Used to maintain upstream steam pressure typically in flash steam recovery applications. Designed with a full port strainer and blowdown valve to protect the pilot from scale and debris.

Minimum differential pressure of 10 PSIG with standard HD valve, 3 PSIG with low pressure HD valve
Control upstream steam pressure to within +/- 1 PSIG
Ductile iron construction with stainless steel seat & phosphor bronze diaphragm
